The mornings have been beautiful, the sun rising behind the mountains glowing on St. George’s as if it were the only town in the world. I’ve been staying at Maca Bana, near the airport but it could easily be light years away from civilization. =
The bright skies were getting dark, there was a bit of urgency amongst the crew. “Here, put this on???, one of the mates gave me a yellow rain coat. I wasn’t sure if the wind was picking up or the boat was going faster, but in mere seconds we were bombarded with a torrential downpour in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. At 35 knots, you might catch a glimpse of the LSX 75 and think it is just like any other yacht on the water. Like many large yachts, it is nicely appointed, has powerful engines and as you could expect, floats on water. This however, is where the similarities end.
